Dr. Amiruddin is a finance and capital markets expert with extensive experience in investment banking, treasury, and financial risk management, contributing strong analytical and market perspectives to the Audit & Risk Committee. He supports the Committee in overseeing financial risk exposure, market volatility, funding structures, and internal control effectiveness.
He holds an International Baccalaureate from United World College of the Atlantic, a Master’s degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master in Business Research, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from The University of Western Australia.
His professional background includes senior roles at global financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Nomura, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and AAA Securities, where he led capital markets, investment banking, and wealth management functions. He is also active in academia as a practitioner lecturer. His combined industry and academic experience enhances the Committee’s oversight of financial risk, governance discipline, and strategic resilience.
